I am an RRCA (Road Runner’s Club of America) Certified Distance Running Coach with a passion for trail running.
As an athlete, I have been trail running since 2014, during which time I have competed in over 40 distance races (half-marathon to 24-hour endurance races), and placed first Female in 25 of those, coming in on the podium in most of the others. I have set Course Records at No Buisness 100 Miler (taking the overall win), Yamacraw 50k Yamacraw 20k, Iron Mountain 16 Miler, and Sky to Summit 50k. I was a Golden Ticket Winner at the 2017 Georgia Death Race, which enabled me to run the “grandfather of trail running”‘ Western States 100 Mile Endurance Run, where I placed 19th Female. I enjoy long distances, but also compete in shorter races as well, winning the Knoxville Track Club Off-Road Racing Series in both 2015 and 2016.
I work as an Assistant Track Coach, working with the distance runners at Anderson County High School, and I also serve as the Distance Running Coach for KyBRa Athletics. I have coached athletes in tough ultra events, ranging from Georgia Death Race, UTMB, and Ouray 50, as well as Spartan racers and marathoners looking to qualify for the Boston Marathon.
I am also a Certified Personal Trainer with NCCPT, and worked as a Personal Trainer with National Fitness Center from 2013-2016, before leaving to train privately. In addition, I hold a Level 1 Certification in Sports Nutrition, and I am knowledgeable about the strong connection between good nutrition and good performance.
